Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Financial Officer to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial management, resource optimization, and business performance monitoring. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in finance and a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Performance Monitoring
- Develop and implement the financial strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Establish real-time financial reporting based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Improve cash flow management and optimize cash management processes.
Digitalization & Optimization of Financial Processes
- Automate accounting and reporting using modern tools (ERP, BI, AI).
- Integrate Business Intelligence solutions for better financial analysis.
- Implement dynamic and agile budget management.
Revenue Optimization & Cost Management
- Monitor business profitability and propose cost optimization strategies.
- Ensure operational margin control and improve financial process efficiency.
- Define a pricing strategy adapted to the company’s business model.
Accounting Closing Tasks
- Prepare and verify accounting entries (bank reconciliations, account matching, etc.).
- Perform inventory work and adjustments (depreciation, provisions, etc.).
- Produce financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and annexes.
Collaboration with the Auditor (CAC)
- Provide required documents and supporting evidence to the auditor.
- Address requests and clarify any discrepancies or raised concerns.
- Implement adjustments and recommendations proposed by the auditor.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Lead a proactive approach to financial risk management (exchange rates, taxation, cybersecurity).
- Establish internal control procedures to guarantee financial transparency and security.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills
- Degree in finance, accounting, or management (Master's level/Bac+5).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or financial control.
- Proficiency in modern financial reporting tools, ERP, and BI (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Advanced Excel).
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and best practices in financial management.
